Add a Jerk Down Rule in the Tie Down Roping

1. If a calf is jerked down, the contestant will be disqualified. Jerk down is defined as calf is jerked over backwards between ten (10) and two (2) on a standard clock or between thirty (30) and one hundred and fifty (150) degrees with the animal landing on his back or head with all four feet in the air.

Barrel racing 20 ft off the fence

1. NEW- barrels must be a minimum of 14ft off the fence.

1. OLD - Poor Sportsmanship -$50

2. NEW - Poor Sportmanship, of any kind, including towards livestock - $100

Ground Rules

1. All hosting Committees have the authority to create ground rules specific to their rodeo

2.  Ground rules will be posted a minimun of 48 hours prior to the rodeo on the website

3. Ground rules will supercede the rulebook

1. OLD- Top three and bottom three barrel racers and pole benders will be required to rake in the opposite performance. Slack barrel racers to rake in the performance and the performance to rake in slack. If it is all one performance, top 6 and bottom 6 will have duties in the opposite half they are drawn. Fine of $25 

2. NEW - Top three and bottom three barrel racers and pole benders will be required to rake in the opposite performance. Slack barrel racers to rake in the performance and the performance to rake in slack. If it is all one performance, top 6 and bottom 6 will have duties in the opposite half they are drawn. Fine of $50
